The Drive to Nagboo
You see people in donkey pulled carts pretty often around here.
We arrived as they were just finishing up Sunday School, we slipped into the back so we would not disturb the message but the member that invited us ( he was kind of like a junior pastor I think) saw us and invited us to sit in the front! LOL We were not just sitting on the front row, there was a separate pew in the front along the side that they had us sit in. They greeted us and told us how happy they were that we had come and while the pastor was finishing Sunday School the Junior Pastor type guy asked Dr. Dickens to preach. Dr. Dickens was very kind and agreed to preach and after praise and worship Dr. Dickens was introduced. Dr. Dickens preached and when he was finished the junior pastor told us how happy they were that we had come and said that the members wanted Dr. Dickens to preach every week. :) Dr. Dickens said that the hospital kept him very busy but we would come again. The Pastor closed in prayer and then everyone came up front to shake hands with us and tell us how happy they were that we had come. We left the church and came home for a quite Sunday afternoon. It was amazing to me how the people held us in such high esteem, and were so grateful that we had come to visit there church. They honored us by having us sit up front and having Dr. Dickens preach. In America if you asked someone you did not really know to preach just off the cuff it would be considered rude, but here they did it to honor us. Every single person wanted to shake our hands and tell us hi, and even though it was a little different than what I am used to, they did that to honor us and it was really neat. Here are some pics from the church.
